2 Little Beads with 1 Big Purpose

When I started this journey into making bracelets, I knew I wanted to use them to do more than just occupy the ADHD squirrels that live in my brain. I also wanted to use my bracelets to help others. I am very heavily involved in my local Down Syndrome Society, so I decided that I would start each bracelet with a yellow bead and end it with a blue bead. Every sale I made, I would donate a portion of each bracelet to the Down Syndrome Society.

When I started doing more vendor events, I would specifically target events that were benefiting a non-profit, and I would create bracelets specially for them, using their colors in the bracelets.

In the year and a half, I have been creating, I have helped 5 different non-profits, as well as being involved in multiple fundraisers locally. I really enjoy playing a small role in helping others.
